Mr Plaskon was such a good neighbor and friend to our family. Mr Plaskon was always kind and considerate. He took my dad to church and a number of other places always with a smile and a laugh. Mr arms Plaskon would let me come with them on pinics at raccoon creek and crooked creak. I enjoyed many a night playing ping pong in our basement with mr Plaskon Owen and my dad.
My condolences to Kathy Don Ray and Patty on your loss. You father was a good and kind man.

Dear Kathy, Don, Ray, Patty & Family,
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Plaskon. He & Mrs. Plaskon were such good neighbors & friends across from the Noe Family on Morrow St in Wilkinsburg. He was such a great guy. Always ready to drive his kids & the neighbors' kids to school & church. The Plaskons were wonderful friends to my Dad, Chester - taking him to church and especially the races. I remember Mr. Plaskon & my Dad having very "philosophical & leisurely" discussions during cool summer evenings on our front porch. And of course, the special memory I have is going with the Plaskon Family to Kennywood, going on all the rides with Kathy, and coming back to the picnic grove for a delicious lunch packed by Mrs. Plaskon.
Also, who can forget the street wiffel ball games with Johnny, Mary, Kathy, Don & Ray? And the hide & seek games when it was starting to get dark - - until someone yelled "FIRST TO SEE THE STREET LIGHTS COME ON!"? And, I'll always remember Patty being interested in raccoons at the State Park; she so loved her favorite plush toy elephant. The Noes and Plaskons all had great fun on Morrow St.
We miss Mr & Mrs Plaskon. You all have our heartfelt & deepest sympathy for your loss.
Love,
Mary Ellen (Noe) Bloom & Joel Bloom

Our thoughts are with you during this trying time. With Rita at his side, we really appreciated his warm welcome and kindness in 2001. They were both so adorable.
I still remember the many small requests Annaëlle made to him, in French, after which she would add, “please” (only this word in English) each time. Unable to understand French, he failed to respond, prompting Annaëlle to turn to us and say in French, “I don’t understand. I keep saying ‘please’ each time I ask him to do something, but he doesn’t do it!”.
His absence will be strongly felt in this world, but his presence in the hereafter will warm the heart of his love, Rita. We send you our love, Jocelyne and family.
