Joe Sr. was was funny, warm-hearted individual!! He and Christine could light up a room!!! I loved hearing all the funny stories about him,Christine and the store!! My favorite was when he would have some meat that was going bad, how he would give it to one of the boys and say,"give this to your mother!!" He is now resting with the love of his life!!! Your memory will live on forever!!

Our uncle Joe was a lovely influence on young lives! He even taught me (Chita Gross) how to properly order steak! My siblings--Janet, Jimmy, Cindy and I--children of his brother, James Gross, wish to convey our condolences to our our cousins, Jerome, Kenny, Bobby, and Allen Gross for the recent losses of both their parents. We are in Utah, New York, Pennsylvania and Panama these days but will be with you in heart and spirit. Bless you all.

Uncle Joe will be remembered very fondly by my family: Ed, Kristin, Heidi and me. He was wonderful with the girls when he visited New Jersey and was always ready to laugh. Your parents were a large part of my childhood and I will remember them always as the closest tie to the Dernorsek side of the family. Their New Year's eve parties remain some of my best childhood memories, as well as hours and hours of hanging out in the store.

Our sympathies on Uncle Joe's passing, especially so close to losing your mom. He was always ready to laugh and to make others laugh as well. Greg still has a walking stick your dad gave him when he was here for my parents' 50th anniversary. I always think of him with great fondness.

Joe, Bob, Ken and Allen so sorry for your loss. I will be out of town next Wednesday so I will not be able to come to Warchol's. Joe was an awesome Guy, God Bless Him. He and Christine are together again. Take care, Mary Chabala
