Obituary of Anthony Francis Chiodo
Age 88, of Scott Twp., peacefully on July 8, 2015 after a long illness. Beloved husband of Arlene Neve Chiodo and the late Pearl Klemash Chiodo, loving father of Deborah (Patrick) McMahon, Anthony F. (Denise) Chiodo, Jr. and Donna (John) O'Grady, stepfather of Larry Neve, Bob (Donna) Neve and Michelle Bracken, beloved Pappy of Kelly, Kevin, Michael (Jessica), Nicole, Molly (Clinton), Garrett, Tanner, Charles, Paige, Kaitlyn, Jacob and Jessica, great-grandfather of Brooke and Noah, brother of Phillip Chiodo, Jr., and the late Carmella "Dolly" Lazzini. A veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army and a retired burner for Ryerson Steel Co., Carnegie, where he worked for over 40 years. Tony also ran a television repair shop for family and friends and delivered his daughter, Donna, at home on his birthday. The family would like to thank Noblecare Primary Care Center, St. Clair Hospital, Kane Hospital and Family Hospice and Palliative Care for their compassionate care. Friends received Sunday, 2-8 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10 AM, at Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family Hospice Philanthropy Dept., 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
