My "Uncle Tony",
One of the kindest men I ever met, always had an encouraging word and was a joy to be around. He always had a good story to tell and was truly interested what was going on in your life. I loved visiting your family and swimming at the Scott Township pool. You were part of our nations "greatest generation" and it saddens me to see all of my heroes passing on.
All of my uncles had a HUGE influence in my life and I have fond memories of all the great family get together's. They all loved their country and that is a big reason I also joined the U.S. Army like my Uncle Tony and my father, Carlo (even though most of the Klemash's were Navy men).I served proudly and thought of them all frequently when times were tough and was tempted to quit. But how could I quit when my uncles served in war time overseas? So I pressed on and was successful and was honorably discharged after 8 years.
You were a great man, patriot, husband, father and grandfather. A great example for all. You will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace, Soldier. My condolences to the entire Chiodo family. I miss you all dearly and pray for everyone continually.
Your Nephew,
Carl DeAngelis
Son of Carlo A. and Mary M. DeAngelis (Klemash)
