Obituary of Patricia Ann Plachecki

MARUZEWSKI-PLACHECKI Patiricia Ann "Patty" Age 67, of Bethel Park, passed away suddenly, October 3, 2013. Daughter of Edward and Agnes Plachecki, of Scott Township; sister of Edward J. Plachecki, Sr.; loving aunt of Edward J. Plachecki, Jr. (Sarah); great aunt of Ella Ann Plachecki and god mother of Debbie Thomas. Patty was a retired school teacher of Chartiers Valley School District of over 30 years. Patty"s love of life and teaching children was only surpassed by her kindness and generosity to all those who knew her. Patty was a graduate of Clarion University and the University of Pittsburgh. Patty was an avid traveler, who enjoyed adventures with many of her friends. The impact that Patty has had on others cannot be described in words on paper, but only felt in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 2-7 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
