Obituary of Larry A. Namee

Larry Allan Namee, 83, born January 9, 1941. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and neighbor, of Mt. Lebanon Pa, passed away at home on Tuesday December 3, 2024. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Alexis Namee, his sons, Michael (Kelly) Namee of Scott Township, Larry Namee of Ford City PA, and his adoring granddaughters, Olivia Namee (Georgie) of Brookline and Gabrielle Namee of Scott Township. Larry was a retired employee of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. He was proudly devoted to the company and the many clients he serviced over his long career. Larry will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, but especially by his family whom he cherished. Family and friends received on Thursday from 3-7 PM with a Trisagion Service at 5:30 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), and Friday 11 AM until the time of service at 12 PM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3230 Washington Pike, Bridgeville. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow at St. George Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to St. Jude Children's hospital, the St. George Orthodox Church building fund, or any charity of choice. Larry's wife and family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to their wonderful neighbors, along with the amazing hospice care nurses and staff, who have shown unwavering love, kindness, support, and gentle care during Larry's health journey. We will be forever grateful!
