Obituary of Joseph Bennie Magliocca

Age 88, of Carnegie, on August 9, 2024. Beloved husband of Beverly (Franc) Magliocca for 66 years; loving father of Dawn (John) Pawloski, Joe (Maryann) Magliocca, Anita (Dave) Torchia, Mike (Diane) Magliocca, the late Diana Magliocca, Steve Magliocca, and Lynette (Joe) Trecki; preceded in death by his parents Bennie J. and Clara (Merchant) Magliocca and his sister Maria Colangelo; cherished grandfather of Lindsay (Jordan) Babinsack, Joey (Brie) Magliocca, Michael (Amaia) Magliocca, Cody Magliocca, Brian Torchia, Megan (Dalton) Shutt, Sarah (Bryce Egger) Torchia, Autumn Pawloski, Ben (Josie Skibinski) Magliocca, Abby (Emily Karr) Magliocca, Emma Magliocca, David Magliocca, Leah Trecki, and Tyler Trecki; and great grandfather of Bryce Babinsack, Eloise Shutt, and Myla Magliocca. Joseph served proudly with the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed playing trumpet in the Ringold Band and was an avid Steelers and NASCAR fan. Most of all, he loved family card games and annual family trips to Sandbridge Beach. Family and friends received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Barbara Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
