Joe Magliocca will be missed. The Martin and Magliocca families became friends through the Ringold Band. I have such happy memories of the friendly ribbing that went on between my Dad, Bill Martin, and Joe over the US Navy vs. the US Marine Corp. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Magliocca family.
Regards,
Bob Martin and family

I spoke to my cousin Joe on the 29th of July to tell him of the passing of his friend and my brother in law Attilio Palombi of Ohio
who past in July 22 just 17 days after his 89th birthday. He was sorry to hear the news. Joe was best man for my brother in law.
They were pals, Joe was his best man when he married Virginia in 1959. They both played trumpet in the Carnegie High School
marching band and stage band. Joe went to the Marines and Tee went into the Air Force where he learned to be a Air Traffic
Controller. As kids growing up together we were close.......in fact he and my brother Dom pushed me into the cement of a
foundation that Joe Masciantonio was building. Uncle Bennie was having a fit because I was dressed to go to Hoboken with my
grandmother that evening on the train and was already dressed..Uncle Bennie kept saying my mother in law is going to kill me
when she sees her. They hosed me off, but I was a complete mess to say the least.......When Grandma saw me, well sparks flew.
But, needless to say I was able to go to Hoboken with Grandma to see her brother Uncle Patsy.
Joe and I went to band camp with the Chartiers Valley High School band when our kids were in the band.
I have fond memories of Joe and of Bev who I went to Rennerdale School with.....
I know he is in heaven playing his trumpet with his family around and maybe with my brother in law Tee.
God Bless you Joe..........Love your cousins Frank and Marianne Mercadante Palombi
