What can you say about losing a great friend of 57 years? It hurts. BAD. Condolences to his fine family. There will be othr parties and football games but they won't be the same without Jack. It was an honor and a privilege to be his friend.

My condolences to the Aitkens family. My husband Ralph was a friend of Jack and they worked together at the school. He loved working with Jack now they’ll still have a good time reminiscing in heaven together. Jack was a great guy.

A really good, down-to-earth, friendly guy with a sense of humor. I enjoyed our brief small talks when we crossed paths at the high school and our few meetings after retirement.

Jack and I would get set off in an uncontrollable laughing spell and we couldn't stop. One time we were at a mall around Christmas time and they had a huge snowman in the center who'd talk to the kids. I don't remember now what set us off, but we started loudly and continuously laughing. Everyone in the packed mall was staring at us. We laughed all the way out of the mall! We finally stopped cause our sides hurt so bad and one look at each other got us going again. Jack buddy, I'm really gonna miss you! I'll see you in heaven soon enough! Rest in peace!
