William “Bill” Lester, age 62, of Upper St. Clair, died peacefully at home with his family on March 9th, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Kimberly Lester and his three children, Kate (Brad) Oliver, Kory (Thomas) Miles, and Jon, his grandsons Charlie and William Oliver, mother Judy Lester, brother Larry (Cathy) Lester, and sister Ruth (Stan) Sharrow as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Lester. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family going on vacation on the shores of the Outer Banks, in the mountains and camping at "the farm". He enjoyed going out to eat on Saturdays and catching a Clark’s concert on the North Shore. Bill “Bubba” enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. He enjoyed watching Charlie’s first soccer season while Will cheered from his lap. He spent as much time as possible with his family. Bill was the family mechanic and home restoration expert. He was also a fisherman, hunter and hiker who enjoyed getting to his camp anytime he could. He was a dedicated employee of the Department of Transportation of Pennsylvania with over 20 years of service.
