Obituary of Carol Sue Marinacci

MARINACCI CAROL SUE “SUZIE” Age 77, of Bridgeville, PA passed away on Thursday June 8th, 2023 with her daughters by her side. She was born on May 17th, 1946 to Arden and Edna Staaf, both deceased. She grew up in her beloved town of Rennerdale, PA and graduated from Chartiers Valley High School in 1964. She went on to receive her Undergraduate degree in Spanish from Kent State University and received a Masters Degree in Education from The University of Pittsburgh. She taught Spanish at Central Catholic High School and created the Spanish programs at both St. Louise De Merrilac and St. Thomas More. A creative and dedicated teacher, she loved her job and her classroom was always filled with color and music. A loving and supportive Mother, she encouraged her daughters in their artistic pursuits and always said she was their “greatest fan.” She will be missed deeply by her family and friends who adored her. She is survived by daughters Lisa Sue Marinacci and Lori Eve Marinacci, Son-in-law Jeremy James Lewit and grandchildren Henry Theodore Lewit and Annabelle Sue Lewit. Family and friends received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
