Sad to hear of the passing of a fellow Marinacci. I do not know how we may have be related. If anyone is interested in Marinacci family genealogy please drop me a PM on Facebook where I am Daniel Marinacci. (Not the one in Argentina but the one with a pink rose on my profile and standing next to a gyroplane).
My Grandfather Giuseppe Marinacci was born, raised and married in Poggio Picenze, Barisciano, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy. Grandfather left via port of Naples, Italy on April 19, 1912 on the SS Konig Albert pictured below. He lived in Eastern and Northeastern Ohio, Western PA and Weirton, West Virginia.

PHILIP MARRONE posted a condolence

My sincere sympathy goes out to the family of Carol Sue Marinacci. She taught Spanish at Central Catholic H.S. from 1969 to 1973, and possibly longer. And she was my first Spanish instructor from 1969 into 1970.
Ms. Marinacci's very disciplined and organized approach to teaching 14-year-old kids (who didn't know nuthin' 'bout foreign languages) was a tribute to her keen perspective of what her role as a language teacher was.
I quickly caught on in her class. And after several months she transferred me to a more advanced Spanish class, either because I was really good or because I became a pain in her butt.
I feel terrible for the loss that her family is suffering by this lovely lady's passing. And I regret that after Central Catholic our paths never crossed. It would have been wonderful to see her and talk with her. May God bless Ms. Marinacci.
