Obituary of Joseph G. Webb

WEBB JOSEPH G. Age 80, “Buddy” to those who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully, on May 13, 2022, after a long, valiant fight against illness. Cherished and most beloved husband of Joanne Trainor; survived by his loving family – big brother Jack (Ruth Ann), stepdaughter Denise (John), stepson Scott (Jackie) and sister-in-law Virginia; proud grandfather of Taylor (Eric), Zachary (Cynthia) and Logan (Austin); great grandfather of Mia Joy; “Uncle Buddy” to Wendy (Joe), Susan (Brian), Cathy (Kurt), Joe (Michele), Michael (Adina), Jennifer (Wilson) and Julie (Dave); cherished by all of his loving cousins and dearest friends. Buddy was proud of his MP service in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He went on to become a police officer in Mt. Lebanon, PA and finally a career in security at Mellon Bank. He was an active Mason and the Shriners Motor Corp. He loved riding his tractor, planting his brandy wine tomatoes, and being surrounded by the best neighbors in the world. Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
