Obituary of Gloria Marie Lutz

Age 97, of Bridgeville, a devout Catholic and devoted aunt, was welcomed into heaven on November 17, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bertha Lutz; her sister, Joan Lutz Malarkey and brother-in-law, Pat Malarkey. Gloria was a beloved source of wisdom and support to her large extended family. While never married, she became the matriarch of the Malarkey family upon the early death of her sister. Aunt Glo will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews: Jerry and Laurie Malarkey; Patty and Mark Witmer; Bill and Cheryl Malarkey, Kathy Revesz; Jim and Beth Malarkey, Mary Lou and Jeff Reicoff, Danny and Elaine Malarkey; and cherished great nieces and nephews. A former English teacher for Bridgeville and Chartiers Valley High Schools, Gloria served her church and volunteered in her local community into her nineties. Family and friends received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8:30 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at Holy Child Parish, 212 Station Street, Bridgeville, PA 15017. In her memory, contributions may be made to Holy Child Parish.
