I had the pleasure of working for Randy very early in my career. His guidance and willingness to listen and support his team was absolutely critical to our success. Randy always played a big role but also made sure that he let his people shine and take credit. I moved from Pittsburgh 30+ years ago and haven't had the chance to stay in touch with Randy but I will always appreciate how Randy helped me get started. Randy's legacy will continue through all of the people he helped over the years. He will be missed and remembered.

We met Randy over 35 years ago as our children were the same ages as his. Many fond memories were made on vacations, school sporting events, chaperoning school trips and camping trips for the boys. While our children were in school we were almost inseparable. Randy was a great friend and even though we drifted apart, when we were all back in the "Burgh", we always tried to get together. Our hearts go out to all the family on the loss of a loving husband, a proud and supportive father and a doting Poppop. Our prayers are with you. Jackie Chitambar

Dear Joyce, Randi, Jennifer, Michael and family. My deepest sympathies. Randy was one of my best friends growing up both in Elem. and H.S. Although he didn't play football, his participation in the band showed his great school support and I remember band members who talked about his humor in classroom and on band trips were priceless. We played together in Little League and Pony as well as Varsity Basketball and Baseball teams where again his team support and humor were uncanny. Like most guys after graduation, many of us drifted off to our own lives and families. As time went on, he and I became regular attendees at the Reunion Banquets.....both of us felt the strong need to participate every 5 years as well as any in-between get-together's. One of the best times we had was at a Pirate game in 20011. I arranged tickets for Randy, Billy Black, Mark Orlic, Phil Morgan and myself. What a great time we had at dinner and the game. Randy was his complete humorous self. Then 5 1/2 years ago my world completely shattered in an instant where not many outside our Plum family cared about the truth. But my family my Plum family was there front and center with their love and unconditional support with Randy Fowler leading the way. One of the first persons to call me and the very first Mustang to call me, was Randy....not surprising. We talked many times after that, always cheering me up and offering unwavering support. Then, when I had my open heart surgery in 2015, not only was his support there again, but on the day of my surgery, upon opening my eyes, there was Randy along side my wife holding my left hand as Jeanne held my right. Wow, now that's a true friend. I am so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. Billy I'm so glad you were able to spend time with him that day. The Fowler family and friends will miss him dearly, as will his Plum family. Keep the memories close each and every day. God Bless,
Randy Cosgrove, Coz

My deepest condolences to the family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see Randy again.
Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"
