Obituary of John Robert Robbins
Age 69, of Dormont, on April 5, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter Paul and Henrietta (O'Leary) Robbins. Survived by his wife Kelli Robbins, son Brent (April) Robbins., two grandsons, Dean and Dominic, eight siblings, Joan (Elmer) Hunyady, Paul (Joan) Robbins, Susan (Richard) Babjack, Christine (Pierre) Andrews, Daniel Robbins, Margaret Rivers, Michael (Wendy) Robbins and Anne (James) O'Malley, eight aunts and uncles and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends. In his early career Jack was an art teacher and vice principal at Immaculate Conception in Washington, PA. He went on to become an answering service and call service entrepreneur in Pittsburgh, PA, and Naples, FL. He always identified himself primarily as an artist and writer. Family and friends received on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Twp.
