Age 90, of Chardon, OH, formerly of Cecil, passed away on February 27, 2017. Loving husband of 69 years to Bette Jane (Myers), devoted father of Christine (the late Francis Jr.) Fox, Deborah (Otis) Meeks, and Ellen (Ken) Rust. Grandfather of Clifford James Moss, Wendolyn (Eric) Deacon, Emily (J.R.) Smith, Rebecca and Amanda Rust. Great-grandfather of Brett and Max Smith, Abel Kinser and Joanna Deacon and brother of Norma Kotarba. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ida (Stubna) and Victor Clark, and his siblings, Dolores Smith and George “Pal” Clark. A Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. James was a retired auto body repair manager for over 40 years at GVM Pontiac in Carnegie. He built two homes from the ground up. His hard work was evident, not only in his own home, but in the homes and lives of his family and friends. He loved unconditionally and will be forever missed by every life he touched. Family and friends received on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Paul Cathedral, Oakland. Family suggests memorials to St. Paul Cathedral.
