Obituary of Tyler James Challingsworth

Born February 27, 1993 died tragically on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Born in Butler, PA., Tyler was a 15 year resident of South Fayette. Tyler leaves behind his parents Dave and Betsy Challingsworth and brother Zachary Challingsworth of South Fayette; grandparents, Carl and Sue Daniel of Lester, WV; aunts and uncles, Tim and Kara Challingsworth of Cranberry Twp., PA., Tom and Dawn Challingsworth and Dan Challingsworth all of Conneaut Lake, PA., Terri and Tony Allen and Rob and Crissy Daniel all of Crab Orchard, WV. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents Burch and Ruth Challingsworth of Conneaut Lake, PA. He is survived by his cousins, Morgan, Alex and Payton Challingsworth of Conneaut Lake, PA., Nick, Luke and Jake Challingsworth of Cranberry Twp., PA., Stacie and Curtis Daniel of Crab Orchard, WV., Josh Allen and wife Dionne of Phillippi, WV., Chris Allen and wife Karen of Huntington, WV., Jacob, Caleb Amea and Emily Allen of Huntington, WV., and Skyler Allen of Wilmington, NC. Also, many great aunts and uncles. Tyler was a kind, compassionate and loving person. He loved playing his guitar, creating amazing music and being with his family and friends in South Fayette and on the lake in Conneaut. Tyler was a true athlete, who excelled in all sports. Football became his love but he enjoyed snowboarding, wake boarding, skate boarding and so much more. Tyler was a best friend to many; he was supportive without question and gave everything he had, even if it was all he had. He was a selfless person, always putting others needs before his own. Our hearts are broken at the loss of Tyler but his memory will live on in each of us always. Family and friends received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A funeral Service will be held at 11 AM at Bethany Presbyterian church. In lieu of flowers, a foundation will be established in Tyler’s name, for those wishing to contribute.
