DAVID JOHN
Age 80, of Portersville, formerly of Bridgeville, on October 16, 2016. Survived by his children, David H. Colton, Deona Colton Miller and Kirsten (Dean) Rogers; grandchildren, Nick Miller, Malayna (Brin) Stefaniszyn, Colton Miller and Matthew Colton; great grandson, Loden Stefaniszyn; brother, Dr. Donald Colton and his niece and nephews. Also survived by his beloved, Beatrice Turner and family, Jay Turner, Joy (Wes) Notovitz, Jack Turner, Bill Turner and grandchildren Travis and Cody Turner, Mandy (Chris)Kennedy, Dayton and Meleea Turner. He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Harold and Florine (Buchanan) Colton and siblings, Glenn Colton and Helen Ramsey. David was a U. S. Naval Veteran, and a Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was raised in Bethany Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock, PA and a member of the Bridgeville American Legion. He was an entrepreneur and salesman; he loved to travel, golf, swim and read and, above all else, he loved his family. Friends received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment with full military honors to follow in Melrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bridgeville Public Library or the Prospect Public Library.
