When I asked Matt back in mid-February, he said if he was still around and feeling OK he'd go up to Slovenefest for a day with us if we came back in July.
He had some coupons for Nutella and had never tried it and I assured him he'd love it. He was leaving to get groceries when we left. I felt like it was probably the last time I would see him.
Then just a few days ago from coming up there and thinking we're going to see him, we get the news that he's passed away.
Well I know, as he said, he was more than ready to go -- spiritually, physically and emotionally.
Still wish we'd had one more visit with him this week but we know he's in a better place and at peace.
Our love and sympathy to all of the family members and friends.
