Obituary of Anne B. Dodson

Age 99, on Saturday, January 2, 2016. Beloved wife of 55 years of the late Robert L. Dodson; cherished mother of Robert P. (Patricia), Edward L. (Gayle), Beverly A. (Richard) Laub, Raymond G. (Jane) and Michael J. (Michelle); preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Mary Egan and six siblings, George, Robert, Mary Loretta, Helen, Catherine and Paul. Anne was adored by her six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Anne grew up in Beechview, lived many years in Banksville and Pompano Beach, FL.; more recently she lived in Bridgeville, PA. and Sunrise of Upper St. Clair Senior Living. Anne was a devout Roman Catholic and retired from Verizon. She was most proud of her family and her faith. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Sunrise of Upper St. Clair and Family Hospice and Palliative Care of Mt. Lebanon. Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. John Capistran Church, Upper St. Clair. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
