I am sorry my distance from you has not allowed me to share in your sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you all today. I wish I could give big hugs to everyone.
Although I did not know your mom well, I can only guess what a fantansic women she was, judging from her daughters. I hope to see you all very soon. Love, Kim

I am thankful for all the memories with Aunt Eileen and Uncle Bill and the girls (so much younger than me). I remember how lovely she was when she walked down the aisle at Holy Innocents to marry Uncle Bill...and she was lovely her whole life through, raising four lovely daughters. When we all were together there was always lots of laughter and clearly a lot of love. What a legacy to leave.

Dear Aunt Eileen,
I know today you are being welcomed into heaven with the rest of our family and your friends. (Please give my mom a hug) I will never forget all of my happy memories spent with you and Uncle Bill and my cousins, especialy on 4th of July's. I do believe I learned to love fireworks because of these special days. Your kindness and generosity were all giving and your have a wonderful legacy in your 4 girls. God Bless, you will be missed.

I know that words cannot do much at a time like this. But I want to say that I have many special memories of the summer vacations that we spent with Uncle Bill, Aunt Eileen, and the girls. Dad always looked forward to your visits. I remember one time not too long ago when all the cousins were together in the kitchen in Stella. We were talking and laughing and I guess we got a little too loud. From the living room we heard Aunt Eileen say, "Girls! Girls! Use your INSIDE voices." It was so funny because we were all grown but we still felt like kids. Cherish the good memories. I know I do.

That extra star in the heavens tonight is our dear Aunt Eileen, a wonderful woman, a lovely and loving lady who knew the meaning of living life to the fullest. Eileen, you were an inspiration from the time I spent with you as a young wife and mother until our last too long ago time together in 2005 when you were still the ultimate hostess. I always admired your unconditional caring and concern for others; your unflagging interest and curiosity about how and what we were all doing - I can still hear your sweet voice chiming "Oh, Sue ... or Bill .. or whoever happened to elicit that exclamation. You will be sorely missed but hope you know what a legacy you are leaving in your wonderful husband, daughters and their families. Love you all!
