Age93, of Bridgeville, on June 12, 2015. He was born on August 25, 1921, in Bridgeville. A son of Nicola and Maria Femia Uriah. He is the beloved husband of Marian (Neiss) Uriah, loving father of James, Nicholas, Mark and Amy Rose Uriah, brother of the late Frank, James, Nick, John and Joe Uriah and Rose Bianchin, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Uriah was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army and a lifelong member of the Bridgeville American Legion, Post #54. A retired employee of the former E.W. Curry Co., where he worked for 47 years and later worked as a school crossing guard in Bridgeville for 12 years. He was an avid bowler and golfer and belonged to the Greater Pittsburgh Duck Pin League. Friends received Monday, 7-9 PM, and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:30 AM, at Holy Child Parish, Bridgeville, with the Rev. Richard C. Yagesh as celebrant. Interment to follow with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
