Ruth my my mother, Elaine MacDonald's, best friend for 40 years. When I first met Ruth, I was just a kid. I remember she was tall, had gorgeous legs, and beautiful eyes and nails. (That's when you notice when you are 10.) But, most of all she was FUNNY and wonderful and always great fun.
It is hard to imagine that Ruth is gone. My mother moved away from Pittsburgh 2 years ago and she kept in touch with Ruth by phone. So, we didn't know that Ruth was ill. She seemed larger than life, it's hard to imagine her other than herself. We are all so sad that Ruth is gone. We have so many memories of her - at Eat N Park, working at Universal Cyclops, her dogs, Keno and Benji. But, mostly we will remember her unforgettable sense of humor and fun.
Rest in peace, Ruth. We will miss you SO much. You died so unexpectedly. We didn't get a chance to say goodbye.
