Obituary of Richard C. Wible
Richard C. (Dick) Wible, 71, of Bethel Park, went to the loving arms of his Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He was born December 5, 1943 to the late Quentin and Mildred (Tessmer) Wible. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Carolyn (Smelko) Wible; his two children Susan (Bill) Bishop and Carrie (John) Lemonovich, both of South Fayette; his eight adoring grandchildren, Augie, Jack and Sam Bishop, and Luke, Kate, Claire, Elizabeth, and John Lemonovich; and his brother David Wible. After graduating Baldwin High School and Thiel College, Dick worked for U.S. Steel for 33 years before retiring in 1999. He was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bridgeville and served in numerous leadership and volunteer roles over the course of many years. His "retirement" years were spent volunteering at church, spending time with his beloved family, daily study of scripture privately and in group classes, and attending Pirates games and his grandchildrens' sporting events. Dick found joy in service, whether it was as a congregational officer, organizer of fellowship events, or laborer in a flower bed or church construction project.
