Obituary of Thomas A. Dillis

Age 87, of Upper St. Clair, On March 1, 2014. Husband of Helen R. Dillis for 59 years; father of Debbie Dillis, Gail Dillis, Leigh (Bill) Friday, Carolyn (Mike) Fitzgerald and Tom (Valarie) Dillis; grandfather of Sean, Joseph, Kelly, Matt, Kristen, Jake, Joel and Nicole. Tom served proudly with the US Navy during WWII. He will always be remembered as a man that cherished his family and the time he spent with them. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. John Capistran Church. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgeville Public Library or the Little Sisters of the Poor, Pittsburgh.
