Obituary of Irene M. Picard

PICARD IRENE M. (Nowak) Age 90, of Bridgeville, on February 27, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Picard; loving mother of Sarah (Ronald) Samick, Michael (Rhonda) Picard, Suzanne Picard and Roberta (Steve) Esau; sister of the late Edward Nowak and Violet Tamulinas; cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 1. Irene was a member of C.D of A, Christian Mothers, Catholic Golden Agers and sang in the church choir for many years. She also volunteered at the Bridgeville Senior Center and enjoyed her bowling leagues with her friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-7 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at Holy Child Parish. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coworker Foundation at Country Meadows, 800 Cherry Drive Hershey, PA 17033.
