Obituary of Theodore L. Korintus

Age 83, a lifelong resident of South Fayette, on Friday, December 6, 2013. Beloved husband of Clara (DiBattista) Korintus for 57 years; loving father of Keith (Patti) and Dan (Rana) Korintus; son of the late John and Emma Korintus; brother of Margaret (the late Steve) Kuglar and the late Mary (the late Joe) Breznai, the late Emma and the late John (Margaret) Korintus; proud grandfather of Nick, Katy and Alex Korintus; also survived by nieces and nephews. Ted was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He worked for 28 years at the Bridgeville A&P and retired from the Mt. Lebanon School District, Foster Elementary School. He was a lifetime member of Holy Child Parish, a member of the South Fayette Senior Center and a member of the VFW. He was an avid Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Holy Child Parish. Interment and military honors to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Holy Child Parish, the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association or the charity of your choice.
