Obituary of Leonard L. Anthony

Age 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, after a 5-year courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Nancy (Kasper) Anthony; loving father of Lynda (Jeff) Anthony and Michael Anthony; preceded in death by his brother Bernie Anthony. He is survived by his brother Alvin (Angie) Anthony and his sisters Angelina (Pete) Haines, Virginia (John) Masaitis and Trudy (Frank) Mazzotta. He is also survived my many nieces and nephews. He was a Veteran, serving in the US Marine Corp during Vietnam and a lifetime member of VFW #764 in McMurray and a member of the American Legion #760 in Bethel Park. He was also a member of the Bethel Park Monument Committee. He worked for Consol Energy for 33 years. Per Leonard"s request, visitation and services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). In memory of Leonard and in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh PA 15243.
