Obituary of Elizabeth Scuglia

Age 104, of Bridgeville, passed away on September 2, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Bruno Scuglia, Sr.; cherished mother of Rose Catherine Scuglia, of Bridgeville, Bruno J. Scuglia, Jr. (the late Mercedes), of Ingram, and James L. Scuglia (Maria), of Millvale; proud grandmother of Bruno J. Scuglia III, Benjamin D. Scuglia, Adam D. Scuglia and Alessandra M. Biondo (Nicholas) and great grandmother of Rocco James Biondo. She was preceded in death by her parents Rosa (Colegaro) and Minotto Cortese and her siblings, Mary Pristera, Jesse Cortese, Joseph Cortese, Frank Cortese, Robert Cortese, Ralph Cortese and Peter Cortese. Betty was a past president of the Christian mothers. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at Holy Child Parish. Entombment at St. Agatha Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Holy Child Catholic School.
