Obituary of Bonnie Ruth Williams

Bonnie Williams, age 66, of South Fayette, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 7, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Don Williams for 46 years; loving mother of Donnie Williams (Kara), Jen Lenhart (Todd) and Jessica Williams; proud grandmother of Gabe, Alec and Kathryn Williams and Ty, Livy, Ellie and Halle Lenhart; sister of James Sneddon (Noreen); daughter of the late Ruth (Jordan) and E. James Sneddon; joyful aunt to nieces and nephews; cherished foster mother to precious children and special friend to many. Bonnie was born on December 1, 1946 and grew up in Midway, PA. She graduated from Ft. Cherry High School ("64) and the Washington Hospital School of Nursing ("67). After marrying Don on April 29, 1967, she was a nurse for many years before giving her undivided attention to her children as a homemaker. She had a unique gift in loving people from the moment she met them. She touched the lives of many-her Providence Presbyterian Church family, Boxwood and Pinewood Drive neighbors and anyone she came in contact with. "You only need one Bonnie in your life!" said a friend recently. The love she showed towards many reflected the personal relationship she had with Jesus Christ and His love for her. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A service of worship celebrating Bonnie"s life will take place on Thursday at 10am at Providence Presbyterian Church, McKees Rocks. Interment to follow at Center Cemetery, Midway. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Providence Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
