Obituary of Evelyn Kelley
Evelyn Marie "Tootsie" Kelley, age 91, of Morgan, Pennsylvania went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Kevin Kelley (Kim) and their three children, Brandan Kelley (Brittany), Jeffrey Kelley, and Summer Kelley all of Payson, AZ; daughter, Jamie Coleman of Snellville, GA and her three children, Sean Coleman of Smyrna, GA, Christopher Coleman of Alpharetta, GA, and Kelley Coleman (Krystie) of Snellville, GA; sister, Ethel "Googles" Dernorsek (Joseph) of Belgrade Lakes, ME and her three daughters, Denise Dernorsek, Cindy Wurpel (Ed), and JoAnn McElvaine (Steve) all of Maine; other relatives and a host of many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, devoted husband of 38 years, Jim Kelley, and son-in-law, Jim Coleman.
Evelyn "Tootsie" Kelley was born in Cuddy, PA on November 27, 1921 to Ethel Matulis Grillo and Tony Matulis. She graduated from the South Fayette High School and attended Secretarial School. She worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 20 years, and served over 20 years as an Admissions Hospital Secretary for the State of Pennsylvania. Evelyn was a devoted member and Elder at the Gladden United Presbyterian Church. She was active with the Women"s Group at Gladden and worked tirelessly for the church. This wonderful, gracious lady will be missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). Additional viewing will be held Monday morning from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in church.
A Service Honoring the Life of Evelyn "Tootsie" Kelley will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Gladden United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Doug Kearns officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery. Those desiring may make donations to Gladden United Presbyterian Church in memory of Evelyn Marie "Tootsie" Kelley.
