Obituary of John J. Szyjko

Szyjko John J. Sr. Age 90, of Bridgeville, on March 27, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Szyjko and Laverne Szyjko, loving father of John J. (Barbara) Szyjko Jr., Susan (Philip) Fiumara and Karen (Jeff) Hazard, brother of the late Joseph, Frank and Carl Szyjko, Steffie Stankowski, Margie Kimes and Fran Lesnett, also survived by many nieces and nephews. A veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy and a lifetime member of the Cuddy V.F.W., Post #586 and a life member of Disabled American Veterans. Friends received Saturday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10 AM, in Holy Child Parish.
