Obituary of Lois M. Zimmerman

Lois M. Zimmerman, 84, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on 30 December 2024, at the Premier Washington Health Center after a brief illness. She was born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania on 16 April 1940 and graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in 1958. She attended Thiel College before beginning her career at Rockwell International as an Executive Secretary and attending the Industrial Education Institute and becoming a member of the National Secretaries Association (International). Her dedication and hard work was recognized and she moved into Human Resources for the remainder of her career. She retired in 1997 and moved back to Mount Lebanon, where she turned her sole focus to family. She was predeceased by her parents Helen and Ernest Mueller and her brother Bruce Mueller. She is survived by her son Bruce "Rick" Zimmerman, along with her two granddaughters Alicia (Kevin) Schutz; Jessica Zimmerman; and her three great grandsons Logan McClanahan, Callen McClanahan and Raiden Schutz, all of whom were loved fiercely by her. Family and friends received on Wednesday, 8 January 2025, from 4-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a funeral service will be held on 9 January 2025 at 11:00 AM.
