Obituary of Donald E Bowman

Donald Earl (Don) Bowman, Jr., 77, of Scott Township, PA passed peacefully to his new home in heaven on October 26. Don was the son of Donald and Florence (Welling) Bowman. He graduated from Scottdale High School in the Class of 1953 and served for four years in the Air Force. Don worked for 37 years for A.B. Dick Company as a Senior Customer Engineer. Don was a loyal servant of Christ, serving as a deacon and elder in Presbyterian churches where he resided. Don is survived by his bride of 56 years, Beverly (Brady) Bowman; sons Brad Bowman, Neil (Peg) Bowman, and Dawn (Joe) Salerno; grandchildren Tyler Bowman, Micah Bowman, Joelle Salerno, Christopher Salerno and Cara Salerno; great-granddaughter MacKenzie Bowman; sister Alice Lee Poirier; brother Glenn (Maxine) Bowman; brother-in-law David (Virginia) Brady; sister-in-law Elaine Cumberland; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday October 28 from 1:00-3:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the Warchol Funeral Home, 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017. The Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00PM on Monday October 29 at the East Liberty Presbyterian Church of Vanderbilt PA, with viewing at 1:00PM prior to the service. Following the service, interment will take place at Scottdale Cemetery, 1108 S. Broadway Street, Scottdale PA 15683.
