Obituary of Carol Yesionek

Carol Louise Yesionek, age 77, of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Finleyville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024. Born on January 1, 1947, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Bernard White Jr. and Mary Ellen White (Thompson). As the cherished matriarch of her family, Carol was the devoted mother of Vicki Brown (Bob) and the proud "Nunnie" to her treasured grandchildren, Trevor and Harrison Brown. She is survived by her brother, James Bernard White III (Shirley Jones). In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother Louis Richard White (Helen) and her nephew Cameron White. She leaves behind nieces and nephews, Dana DeSimone, Lori VanderVeen, Wendy Garrison, Tawnya Shamblin, and Adam White. Carol's family extended far beyond her biological relatives. Her warmth, generosity, and loving spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Carol’s competitive streak showed in her love of card and board games, often played with family and friends while Fox News played in the background. She also had a passion for decorating, was a fantastic cook and baker, and particularly enjoyed gardening. Her love for all things sparkly mirrored her lively personality and vibrant soul. Carol was a caring and nurturing woman who found true happiness in spending time with loved ones and sharing stories that kept her family’s history alive. She had an uncanny ability to tell a joke at just the right moment, effortlessly bringing a smile to anyone’s face with her perfect timing and infectious humor. Carol will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Warchol Funeral Home, 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017. A prayer service will be held Friday, October 25, at 10:30 AM at Warchol Funeral Home. View and add condolences at: www.warcholfuneralhome.com
