Our family is particularly and eternally grateful for Stephanie bringing Dominic into our lives. In spite of whatever flaws she may have had (and don’t we all), for at least a moment she had the wisdom and courage to let him go when she couldn’t care for him. She wanted to love him much more than she was actually able to. My wife and I have always considered it a privilege and an honor to love him in her place and words cannot express how sorry we are that we never got a chance to thank her for that. We mourn with all who loved her.
