Obituary of James Edward Murphy

Age 86, formerly of Dormont, on October 19, 2012. Beloved husband for 63 years of Ruth (Rock) Murphy, cherished father of Patricia (Leonard) Abbott, Marilyn (Allan) Cagnoli, Kathleen Murphy, Robert (Amy) Murphy and the late James L. Murphy, survived by his wife Kathy, brother-in law of Dorothy Kazior and Betty Losak, also adored by 11 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and many loving nieces and nephews. A veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Murphy was a member of the Brookline American Legion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10 AM, in Holy Child Parish, 212 Station St., Bridgeville (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will be private in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
