Bette Jane Clark Obituary

Age 97, of Chardon, Ohio, formerly of Cecil, passed away peacefully on Aug 23,2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, James V Clark. She was the loving mother of the late Christine Fox Eibl, Deborah (Otis)Meeks and Ellen (Ken) Rust. Grandmother of Clifford James Moss, Wendolyn (Eric) Deacon, Emily Smith, Rebecca (Adam) Weiss and Amanda Rust. Great-grandmother of Brett and Max Smith, Abel Kinser, Joanna Deacon and Madalyn Weiss. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Verna Myers, and siblings, Alexander Myers, Vivian Bartz, Pauline Rochon, Marie Johnson, Paul Myers, Jr and Nellie Palubinski.

She was a consummate homemaker with excellent cooking and baking skills. She took pride in her creative skills that included knitting and crocheting as well as anything involving material, thread and yarn.

She loved to play cards but hated to lose. She loved her family and found joy in all of her grandchildren. Nothing pleased her more than to prepare Sunday dinners and holiday celebrations for her family. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2pm-6pm at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St Paul Cathedral, Oakland. Everyone please meet at church. Family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Paul Cathedral.
