Your light is so so very special Carole and will live on forever in the hearts of all who love you! ❤️
Sending peace and love to your family and friends. I hope they will find comfort in all of their precious memories of you!

Carole “Wolfie” was my BFF in middle school. We came of age together, running around Woodbury Estates, having first sleepovers and dancing all night to Journey’s Escape album, making scrambled eggs with cheese and garlic salt, gymnastics in her back yard…I was always envious that she had these cool older siblings… I also remember her kissing her mom goodbye and telling her I love you every time Mrs. Wolfe dropped us off somewhere… so many precious memories. Her laugh was infectious… I can still hear it all these years later. Rest in peace sweet Carole. Lifting you Ron and the kids up in prayer❤️

My memories of Carole go way back to 7th grade! We met at the Jr High and cheered together for Lyn-Hi. We had so much fun practicing during the summer and spending our fall nights at the midget football field!! In high school, we had a lot of classes together… the best one being physics with Mr. Daugherty. I have no idea how we passed with all of our antics lol.
Our friendship continued into college with so many fun times at ZBT and nights out in Oakland. After college, we worked together at Kay Jewelers which Carole declared to be “the most fun job she ever had”!! Before she got married and moved to Wheeling, Tammi, Carole, and I went out for Carole’s “bachelorette party”. Unfortunately for Carole, Tammi and I did most of the drinking and she had to be the designated driver that night lol.
We’ve had so many great times since then… being pregnant at the same time, playgroup, Dave Matthew’s Band concerts, dinners out with Ron and Greg. But friendship isn’t about just sharing good times. We’ve been through some very rough times together too… loss, struggles, and illness. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend to share all of those times with. I’ll miss everything about Carole… her beautiful smile, laugh, kindness, fierce love of her family, and most of all having her as my friend. Love you to pieces Carole

Ron, Alexander, and Izzabella:
We know that words are inadequate at a time like this, but we wanted you to know how deeply sorry we are for your loss.
Carole always had a big smile on her face and kind words for everyone she came into contact with.
Grateful for the time we worked together at Howard Long Wellness Center and the friendship we shared.
Our hearts go out to you and your family during this time.
Lifting you up in prayer,
Laura Lee and Mike Wetzel

Summers spent running around Woodbury Estates with my twin, Brenda, Julie, Beth and Carole aka Wolfie as she was known to my family. High school, reunions and especially our Playgroup ~ Carole, Jenny, Lara, Tammi, Mary and me, watching our babies grow. Grateful to have had a playgroup reunion last year where we caught up and laughed! Carole had not changed a bit, the same funny, caring, wise and beautiful girl with that great smile! I will hold dear the memories of her and pray for Gods warm embrace of peace, comfort and love to Ron, Alex, Izabella and all who love her.

In the summer after seventh grade, I had the pleasure of meeting Carole. We were both cheerleaders and we were attending the Slippery Rock University cheer camp to prepare for the upcoming eighth grade football season. She was amazing to watch, her gymnastics skills were unmatched. The flips and acrobatic tumbles were amazing. I knew I wanted to be this girl’s friend immediately. She was clearly the coolest girl there.
Some years later, I went to see Carole cheer for Pitt. She was still the most impressive and coolest girl on the floor. She was realizing a moment most of us had only dreamed of.
Later in life, we belonged to a women’s group and I had the honor to watch her kids grow up, and see what a tremendous mother she was. She raised two beautiful children into amazing adults. I know that Alex and Izabella are what she is most proud of in this world.
Among her many talents was her cooking. She was always there as a great friend, whether I was sick, or coming home after delivering one of my children, she would bring some great food accompanied with her beautiful smile.
She and Ron were great friends to Rich and I, we could always count on a lot of laughs and a great time when we would get together for dinner. And no matter how much time had passed, it seems like we had not been apart for long .
I will forever miss my friend, her bright smile, her kindness, and the great time spent with her. I am grateful that I had her in my life, and I love her and I will miss her forever.

Carole Anne has been one of my closest friends since our high school days! After high school she was admitted to Penn State, but I was selfishly so happy that she realized Penn State wasn’t for her, and she attended Community College with me! Carole’s older siblings had moved away, and Bill and Elaine traveled frequently, so I “lived” at Carole Anne’s A LOT! Many weekends it was just me, Carole, and her dog Muffin! (And boy did I laugh everytime she had to feed Muffin that canned dog food! It made her gag and throw up just about every time!) It still makes me giggle when I think about it. She finished her college at Pitt, where I visited frequently. Fast forward to marriage and kids. We had a play group with Jenny, Becky, Lara, and Mary, and we were blessed to watch each others children grow. So many memories made. After Carole Anne moved to Bridgeville we kind of lost touch for a while, but I am so blessed and thankful that we reconnected. She was sick then, but she tried hard to not let us know just how bad she was feeling. She was always strong-willed, and she sure did show that as she fought to beat cancer. Carole Anne had a heart of gold and a smile and laugh that were contagious. She was such a devoted, loving friend and was so proud of her strong marriage and beautiful children. She touched the lives of many people, and she will be terribly missed.
I love you Carole Anne~ rest in peace my friend.

Carole (my Wolfie) was my longest childhood friend. We met at barely age 3 in 1970 & have been lifelong friends. I love you and will cherish the memories we have.
