Obituary of Alfred C. "Al" Delmastro

Age 81, of Bethel Park, passed peacefully at home, on August 10, 2024. Beloved father of Al (Ngan) and Lance Delmastro, loving brother of Carol (Ron) Russitano and the late Ludwig (Laverne) Delmastro, son of the late Alfred and Josephine (Lucatorto) Delmastro. Mr. Delmastro owned and operated Delmastro Machine Co., in Bridgeville for 27 years. He took exceptional pride in his work and always strived to be the best in his trade. Throughout his life Al was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending weekends fishing on his boat on Lake Erie. After retirement he moved to Nevada, where he met his dear friend and loving companion, Charlotte. Due to his failing health, Al moved back to the Pittsburgh area where he was cared for by his son Lance and his amazing caregiver Melinda Juarin. Friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412) 221-3333, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
