Obituary of Sebastian "Ben" Vallelunga

Vallelunga, Sebastian L. “Ben” Age 93, of South Fayette, peacefully on August 2, 2024. Preceded in death by his loving wife Marge, of 61 years, and grandson Brandon Del Re. Son of the late Frank and Mary (Scialabba) Vallelunga. Devoted father to Sharon Del Re (Kevin Ferm) Diane (the late Michael) McCarey, and Frank (Dione) Vallelunga; outstanding and loving grandfather to Derek, Michael (Olivia) and Garrett Del Re, Marc (Shannon) and John McCarey, Sara (Jeff) Mellum and Anthony Vallelunga. Great-grandfather to Harper, Dominic, Vincent, Lyla, Cameron, Colin, Lizzy, and Levi. Cherished brother of Dolly (Nick) Spalaris, the late Ann Rowsick and Dorothy Vallelunga; many nieces and nephews. Proud to serve his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War. Family and friends received on Thursday, August 8, from 4-7 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am, on Friday, August 9, at St. Barbara Church of Corpus Christi Parish, Bridgeville.
