Obituary of Joan Rowene Pancari

PANCARI Joan R. (Platts) Age 90, of Bridgeville, reunited with her husband on August 4, 2024. Beloved wife for 73 years of the late Lawrence Pancari, loving mother of Ron (the late Mary Jo) Pancari, Larry (Juliann) Pancari, Mark (Cathy) Pancari, and Sherry (Larry) McCarren, cherished grandmother of Kim MacNeil, the late Ronald Steven Pancari, Kristen (Brent) Murphy, Josh (Samantha) McCarren, Jessica (Jordan) Atallah, Sarah Pancari, Deneen, and Nicole; great grandmother of 4. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pauline (Partridge) Platts, and two sisters, Elaine (Ray) McDonald and Shirley (Jerry) Gillespie, also survived by close family friend and caregiver Susan Maguire, and many loving nieces and nephews. Joan was proud to be a mother and homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, baking, and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a past member of the Fairview V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary. Family and friends received on Tuesday, August 6, from 3-7 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike Bridgeville, (412.221.3333), where a service will be held Wednesday, August 7, at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Volunteer Fire Department, or the charity of your choice.
