Age 63, of South Fayette, formerly of Scott Township, on July 9, 2024. Beloved husband of SuEllen (Gearhart) Dillon for 34 years; cherished son of Theresa (Kulbacki) and the late John F. “Jack” Dillon II; loving father of Alyssa (Eryin) Wandel; brother of Michael (Cindee) Dillon of Cecil Township and Richard Dillon of Cleveland, Ohio. John worked as a business manager for the University of Pittsburgh Orthopedics and as Director of Finance at Sewickley Academy. He was a Pittsburgh sports enthusiast, and a loyal Pirates fan. He coached youth soccer and loved attending Bruce Springsteen concerts. He was a family man who used his knowledge and skillsets to help others. Family and friends received on Monday from 12-2 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a Blessing Service will immediately follow at 2 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillman Cancer Center.
