I met Nancy in NY at the first XLH Day in 2011. I have a photo of her and I together from that day. She's the first XLH person I met outside my family. She was kind, compassionate, caring, and I'm so glad for the brief time I got to spend with her. I am so sad and she will be missed. God bless you Nancy & your family. May your wings carry you to your next adventure.

I met Nancy in swimming class when she was in 10th grade and I was in 9th. We shared many adventures and laughs over the years while I was still in Pittsburgh. In the times we still managed to connect and get together since, spending time with Nancy was always a joy and easy to pick up where we left off. Her positive attitude was contagious and always in tact no matter what challenges she faced. May Nancy’s legacy of positivity and caring for others live on in all who knew her.

I just learned of Nancy’s passing… My heartfelt sympathy to the family. We lived in the same apartment for a few years, and sometimes myself, Barb & her would have girls night doing our nails, gabbing, and just having a fun time! She was spunky & always full of life. They were fun times. I’ll always remember them. Heaven just gained a beautiful Angel!

Nancy was so welcoming, inclusive and energetic. I worked with her on the Working Families Coalition which brought together local agencies for networking events. Thanks to Nancy's efforts, agency reps learned about valuable services and met new colleagues. She was smart and fun and I will miss her. Her contributions to the community will live on.

I met Nancy years ago at an NSA event I think. We discovered we were both Clarion graduates and from that point on, we became fast friends. But everyone did with Nancy, as she was a friend to all. A joy to be around, and a true gem, Nancy made her loving mark on the world, in my life, and in the lives of every person she met. I will miss her friendship.

I didn’t know Nancy well, but she left a memorable impression on me when I met her at Assateague when she was visiting Keith and Janine Benefiel. She was lovely, personable, and comfortable with all. She was absolutely adored by them and will be remembered as such. Reading this just made me realize how truly awesome she was; so much I did t know. She will be sorely missed.
I pray God will comfort your family through this trying time and as you share wonderful memories.

I met Nancy several years ago when I joined a CCAC Writers' Support Group Class. From the moment I walked in the door, she welcomed me in! We bonded over several shared friendships and our faith. With her support, I published my Memoir! She will be forever memorialized in the "Acknowledgment" chapter of my book. Together, we attended several CCAC conferences and workshops. I will never forget that her writing group at church was my first speaking engagement because Nancy invited me to share my story. She came to my book signing at my home. This lady -- this wonderful woman -- is a true Saint. Nancy, we will miss you SO MUCH. Soar like an eagle into our Heavenly Home. Love and miss you!

My sincere condolences to the Alauzen family. It was always so nice to see Nancy at LeoGreta to enjoy lunch with her friends and have her come through the kitchen and greet everyone. To hear Chef say “Hey Nancy! Are you here for lunch?” May you rest in peace at Gods right hand.

Nancy, Such a wonderful person. I met Nancy through CAC during the early 1990's. She had such a big heart. I have many fond memories of her kind and generous acts. It was at her 4th of July party, of 1994, that I met my wife to be, Tricia Cricks. Nancy is with the Lord now and at peace.
God has richly blessed us through His faithful servant, Nancy. I am sorrowful for those of us who will miss Nancy, and I offer my deepest condolences to her close friends and family. I am privileged to have known Her.
