Age 87, of Bridgeville, on June 1, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Arndt; loving mother of Kevin J. (Barbara) Arndt, Lisa M. (Sergio) Rossi, Lori R. Sowell, and Gregory F. (Anthony) Arndt; twin sister of the late Sam Alexander; cherished grandmother of Jason Arndt, Nicholas Arndt, Brittany Miller, Jaqueline Araujo, Jeremy Turner, Sabatino Rossi, Ethan Sowell, Jonathan Sowell, and great grandmother of Gideon Arndt, Jude and Eleanor Araujo, and Harley Miller; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn worked for JC Penney for over 30 years and was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Parish. She enjoyed her time and the friendships that she gained at the Carnegie Retirement Residence. Famiy and friends received on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:30 PM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
