Shirley Himmer of South Fayette, Bridgeville, passed away peacefully May 26, 2024. After graduation from Ambridge High School, she married John and recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Shirley worked at Tender Care for many years and loved taking care of the infants and toddlers. She was a member of Forest Grove Church and helped with the renovation of the Patterson House to be its first church home and school. She enjoyed her garden club, card club, playing bingo, and interior decorating. She talked most about the love she had for her family. Shirley is survived by her daughter Sharon (Rich); son Greg; her grandchildren Kelly (Dean), Adam (Leah), John (Jessica), Zachary, and her great grandchildren Josh, Kaitlyn, Mason, Cooper, and Hazel. Her loving and kind heart left beautiful, happy memories behind. All services private. Arrangements entrusted to the Warchol Funeral Home Inc.
