Dolores Anne Briccio Obituary

Age 92, of Rennerdale, passed away peacefully at home on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 28, 1931 in Carnegie to the late Emil and Catherine (Recrosio) Mauti. As a young girl she was crowned May Queen at the former Holy Souls Catholic Church, Carnegie. She was a graduate of Scott Twp. High School, where she was a class officer and member of the chorus. Her lovely singing voice will always be remembered by her family and friends. One of her proudest accomplishments was having her beautiful rendition of “Ave Maria” recorded on a vinyl record. She was a devoted, loving, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook and always found time to bake cakes, cookies, and pastries for those she loved. Dolores also spoiled her family with her delicious homemade pasta dishes. She is survived by Raymond Briccio Sr, her loving husband of 70 years; her children Annette (Bob) Ramsey, Ray Briccio Jr., Elaine (Steve) Glovier and Nancy (Tom) Sugar; her grandchildren Patrick Ramsey, Erin (Tom) Lyons, Megan (Anthony) Perrozze, Scott Glovier, Marissa Glovier, Jackson Sugar, and Carter Sugar along with her great-grandchildren Kira, Luke, and Emily Lyons. She is also survived by sisters Helen Bongiorni, Edith Miorelli and Clara Calabrese. Preceded in death are her siblings Victor Mauti and Palmira Miorelli. Family and Friends received Thursday May 16th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 17th at 10 am at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Church of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish in Carnegie. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to AHN Hospice, 200 Allegheny Drive Suite 200 Warrendale, PA 15056.
