Obituary of Betty Jane (Savicki) Bishop

Age 94, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 5, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Abiathar “Abby” Thomas Bishop; loving mother of Abby (Susan) Bishop, Jr., Matthew (Craig Chapman) Bishop and Brett (Lori King) Bishop; cherished grandmother of Alexandra (Andrew Flagg) Bishop, Victoria (Nathaniel) Lojek, Lyssa (Timothy) Gazdich, Bria Bishop, Brett (Letty Aleman) Bishop, Jr., and great grandmother of Gavin and Addison Lojek, Nolan and Adeline Gazdich, and Vincenzo and Bruno Bishop; preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen (Seaman) Savicki, and one great granddaughter, Emma Flagg. Betty Jane spent many years as a homemaker, raising her children and putting her family first. She joined the workforce as an employee of the U.S. Federal Courts for approximately 10 years before retirement; however, her passion was loving and caring for her family as a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed painting, crafts, and collecting antiques. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12th at 10:30 AM at St. Louise de Marillac Church of St. Catherine Labouré Parish. Everyone please meet at church.
