Obituary of Kristine J. (Johnson) Benedict

Age 76, of Cecil, on March 22, 2024. Born February 25, 1948 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Carl E. and Rigmor (Berg) Johnson. Beloved wife of Charles R. Benedict, Jr.; loving mother of Julie Welch, Melissa Benedict, and Charles R. (Jessie) Benedict III; cherished grandmother of Kelsey Benedict, Ryan Welch, Lauren Welch, Charlie Benedict IV, and Paul Benedict; sister of Eric (Mary) Johnson and the late Lisa Johnson; also several nieces and one nephew. Kristine graduated from Denison University in 1969 and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a member of the Cecil PTA, and an officer of both the Mt. Lebanon Hockey Association and the Canonsburg Soccer Association. She enjoyed cooking, baking, needlework, and spending time with her family and friends.
